I'm not sure what the Texas way is, but I don't think it's friendly. People complain about Utah drivers but I have to admit that of all the states I've visited Utah has the best drivers. At least Texas has "cheap" gas. It was about $2.93 around our house yesterday. I will get a ten percent discount at Exxon stations. That means we will be paying about $2.60 for gas. I can't believe that that is something to get excited about. When I started driving gas was about $1.00. Those evil oil companies...

What fun pictures, hope you guys are getting settled in! I don't mind Utah drivers either, it's those crazy ones north of us that I worry about!
What? Are you suggesting something? Just because people in Idaho don't drive doesn't mean that they can't drive! J/k I would much rather drive in Utah, but you must admit that the traffic out by my house beats Utah traffic hands down!
Welcome, welcome, welcome! We're so glad you joined us in the great state of Texas! We will love you forever if you would pass your discount on to us.
You know I only said that for you Katie. :) Really, I can't say anything about other people's driving, I probably get cussed out way more than I'm aware of. Good luck with your first day of work, Scott!
Lesley, I'm so glad that you all have arrived safely and are adjusting. We miss you!! But, I must say that I absolutely despise the driving in Utah--I used to enjoy driving but now I always feel like I'm going to die! Not to mention that around BYU there are always people popping out from all places. It's very stressful :)
I learned to drive in Mexico City, where stoplights are optional and they have to put in speed bumps on main roads to make people slow down. And I HATE driving in Utah! It's not even that they're aggressive or whatever, they're just blissfully unaware of how much room their monster SUV or minivan really takes.
I'm so glad you made it! Keep the updates and pictures coming!!!
Congrats on your new home. How exciting! I wish we could get gas that "cheap".
