Elaine S. Dalton said, "What could be more deceptive than to entice women, young and old, you and me, to be so involved in ourselves, our looks, our clothes, our body shape and size that we lose sight of our divine identity and our ability to change the world through our virtuous influence?"

I love how the bean almost goes up his nose like five times. So funny.
Sometimes I wish I could just spit out food when it tastes gross. Ah, the luxury of being a baby!
He is so cute and getting SO old! I can't even believe it!
Thank you so much for sharing things like this with us! It makes us feel so much closer. The girls thought it was hilarious. And it shows how much better you guys are at the parenting thing. Yesterday we gave Josie a piece of licorice, you give your son a bean. hmm. which is a better choice?
It did calm her down though. :)
Licorice, huh? Black or red? I prefer the black, myself.
Josie was so adorable in the video on your blog, and she looked so incredibly OLD. I realized we neede to post some video of Ian after I saw yours. If Josie doesn't look like a newborn anymore, then I'll bet everyone else wouldn't believe how much Ian has changed either!
Scott edited this video and posted it. I am so glad! I have watched it several times myself.
Videos are so much fun because we get to see his little personality so much better! Thanks!
I agree with Ian, green beans are gross. It is the one vegetable I never did warm up to.
Hey, I just remembered that I had a dream that we had our baby, and we were naming him Jonathan Ian Francisco Badal V. I thought, "How come that seems like a lot of names? I don't remember all of those names in our plan..." Now I realize where that came from...
I appreciate the video! He really is so big and I love seeing his personality! SO CUTE!
What a sweetie, isn't it funny how it takes kids 5 minutes to eat what we eat in like 10 seconds? Thanks for your car story on my blog!
That was great Lesley. I'm taking notes as I watch/read about you introducing Ian to food. He is growing up so fast and so very cute.
Oh! He is such a sweetie! You two are such wonderful parents and take such good care of little Ian. It just goes to show that its the little things in life that keep us smiling! :)
This is Mom Larson using Megan's account. I think my grandson is soooo cute. I actually saw a bit of his dad showing through on Ian's face. It does help to see his personality when you see a video. I wanted to help feed him and then give him a big hug.
