This is one of those posts that prove parents think everything their child does is adorable.
Ian was taking a long time to fall asleep at his morning naptime, and was making all sort of strange noises in the meantime. So I peeked in, and saw him proudly sitting up, reaching over the side of his pack 'n play.
Two days ago he began both going from his tummy to sitting, and pulling himself up to a semi-standing position, so I knew it was only a matter of time before he would be ready to climb out of his pack 'n play bassinet. Sad day. I have really liked that setup. But seeing him discover how to look over the edge of his bed was so fun. He is adorable. (See, I told you this was going to be one of "those" posts.)

Eventually he pulled himself up to his feet. That was a first! Obviously it was time to makes changes in his sleeping arrangement.
Before I removed the bassinet, I had to get a video of Ian doing the funniest thing-- the bassinet will rock and swing with little effort, so Ian revs back and forth to get it to move. So cute.
A second video is of Ian climbing up the side of the bassinet.

He is adorable...it's sad how fast they grow up!
I'm pretty sure that everything Ian does IS adorable, so it's okay :) Love the pictures and the video.
Don't be ashamed of "those" posts! We all do it.
I remember when we had to move Benjamin out of his cradle. It sure seemed like he didn't get to use it for very long. Now he sleeps in a pack 'n' play (without the bassinet) and he's working on climbing out of that! It's so fun when they do new things!
Ian is just as handsome as ever! You two must be so proud!
I agree with the general consensus - you have NOTHING to be ashamed of with a kid that cute. I love how he rocks that crib. That cracks me up.
You don't have to be Ian's parent to think he's so cute! I think all my posts are "those posts" anyway. I love the little chubby rolls on his arms! To answer your question on my blog... the thing in the background of the picture is a cool toy my sister-in-law is letting us borrow. It has 3 sides with stuff hanging from it. It's pretty cool!
He is adorable. You have every right to post those pics and video. Have you seen my blog?
Awww cute! He's a little person. Are you going to get a crib?
Very Cute!! I have to say that I completely understand! He is absolutely adorable!
