I have the best sister ever. On Monday, a surprise package from Allison arrived with nice sisterly messages scrawled all over the box, and with my most favorite Trader Joe's treats inside. And just in time! We had been rationing the Joe Joes remaining from our stockings and were nearly out! I gave Ian the package of delicious CA almonds while I slathered myself in the BEST product, Kiss My Face peaches n' cream lotion. Oooohhhh. I love it. And look at all the other stuff she sent! Hurray! This will tide me over until TJ's finally honors my written request to built a store in my neighborhood. Or at least until my next trip to CA. Thanks, Pook!

A second package also arrived on Monday. My sweet Mom sent me a cell phone to replace my current phone, which is commonly considered possessed. It is SO nice to have a phone that doesn't go all snowy and unpredictable whenever I adjust the volume. Thanks, Mom!

Oh my goodness!!! I so MISS Trader Joes, lol, and I wrote them a letter too!!! They have some awesome food there. I like the Veggie Chips too! lol. That is awesome you got a new phone!!!! That is awesome!! Glad it was a good day after your Sunday experience, lol.
I haven't had Trader Joes since May when we went to L.A. Man I don't really like nuts in Utah, but those Cali. Almonds were the best. (Probably because they were fresh and ripe.) I wish Joe's would build in Logan. They sure would have a market up here.
I have heard that TJ's will never build in Utah because they make their moola on alcohol. Alas.
If they ever build one here (fingers crossed) then I will send some of those delightful almonds your way. :)

Oh such a good sister & mom. :) I have heard lots about TJs but never been. Hopefully one day. Oh and how did Ian get twisted like that in his PJs? Cute.
I've never been to Trader Joe's either. They don't have one in South Bend. :( They do have one kind of by Costco out here in Michigan though. Maybe it's time I see what I've been missing!
Trader Joe's has the best Mochi ice cream! So delicious! I was so happy that they had one in Santa Fe while we lived in NM. I haven't found one out here in CT yet, though.
For those of you who are deliberating whether to check out TJ's--it is worth the drive--wherever you are. I have yet to be disappointed by any of their products, and their prices are good too. They carry things that other stores don't, including a large array of healthy frozen meals like enchilladas and pasta dishes. The quality of everything they sell is first-rate. Put some ice in the cooler and trek on down. P.S. I really am NOT paid by Trader Joe's. Really.
