She looks perfect and we are thrilled. I thought I wanted a herd of boys, but I've been giddy all day, so I'm thinking I must have secretly wanted a girl all along.
Ian and Joseph definately wanted a baby sister, and when we picked them up after the appointment they were both waiting eagerly to hear the news. Ian kept asking "Is it a sister, Mom? Is it a girl baby?"
We waited to tell them until we were in the car and could video tape them. The video is pretty anticlimactic, but there were a couple gems. Ian was thrilled and requested she arrive tomorrow. He has also been explaining (in detail) how he will hurt people that try to bite his little sister. Joseph declared we would name her Spike. I think if we name her Spike, she probably won't need Ian to defend her!
I think Scott was pulling for a girl. He is such a great Dad, and I can't wait to see him with our daughter. Our daughter!
She is due June 24 and is measuring right on time. I am really excited about all the prep "needed" for a baby girl, and can't wait to get started making bows and painting the world pink. And luckily, I already have a stash of baby dresses I've been collecting for 3 years.
Also, we are now accepting advice on how to raise a daughter. I remember when I thought raising a boy was such a mystery, but now I feel clueless all over again!

Yay yay double triple YAY!!!!!! I am SO excited for you guys! I am so excited to hear how raising a girl is different and how the boys do with her. I hope you're feeling good! Congrats again!!!!!!!!!!
HOORAY! I'm so excited for you. This is a double announcement for me... I had no idea! You look adorable in your leggings and hardly look pregnant at all. Now maybe we can trade parenting advice since I feel like we're starting all over too. Pink is WONDERFUL. One of our favorite books is Pinkalicious, I highly recommend it!
Congrats!!! The best thing about baby girls is accessorizing them!! I made four bows tonight alone for pictures tomorrow.
Yay yay yay! I love knowing someone else who is having a girl after two boys! She definitely has the loveliest of mamas to look up to. Have fun getting ready for her! I'd love to see what you do.
Congrats! You guys will have the cutest little girl. Just as cute as your darling little boys.
Les, I'm so happy for you guys :) I was hoping you would have a girl to help balance things out at home! I can't wait to hear more...
AHHH!!! YAYAYAYAYYAY!!! I'm so happy for your family! She is going to be sooooo soooooo loved!!
Oh, Les, just wait until you see Scott with her. Oh my heavens! It IS the greatest thing in the world (no offense boy babies, but daddies have a special bond with their little ladies). And TWO big brothers! Sweet! She is set for life!
And you ARE A NATURAL! You are going to love every second and she is going to be so cute all the time and she will be strong and amazing b/c her momma is! YAY!! SO so so happy!
Magic is about to happen!
Congratulations to the four adorable Larsons--about to be 5! We are all so excited to meet her.
Good idea, Joseph! Spike is a great name. Or, Thor, Jason's favorite name for a baby Larson:)
I walked around kind of bemused all day, and had to stop on the drive home, at a fabric store, for no particular reason. Must need some fabric or little dress patterns, I guess. None of them were cute enough, though.
Still time to research all about being a precious little girl's Grandma! I accept the calling!
Love you all-- Hugs, Mom Ogden
Congratulations! That is great! We are excited for you guys!
Yay!! That is really exciting news! I'm sure you will be a natural with a girl. Have fun with all the prep!!
YAY!!!! I'm so excited for you guys!!! Your little girl will be so darn cute!!! HOW FUN! I'll make sure not to bite her around Ian ;)
Girls! Wow, how to raise girls instead of boys. Give me a few years and I might be able to tell you.
Grandpa Larson
Hooray! I didn't even know you were expecting. What exciting news! You will do great with a girl. Being one yourself, you will understand her pretty well. The boys were a mystery to me for a while, but I have always understood what my girl was thinking. Have fun prepping!
Les, I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for you! She is going to be one adorable pampered princess. I'm giddy thinking about what girlie things I should start making for her!
Congratulations!! Another cute Larson!
I can't wait to meet that little lady!!! She is going to be ADORED!!! And so beautiful...just like her lovely mama! How exciting!! Congratulations :)
LOL! You will love it! Congrats again!
I am so excited for you guys!!!!!! Aww, a baby girl!!!! I'm a little jealous, I have to admit. She is going to be so gorgeous! And when you talked about Scott holding your daughter it made me kinda teary. There is something special about daddy-daughter relationships. YAY!!!
Congratulations! Having a girl is SO. MUCH. FUN! You know how there is a part of Scott's relationship with his boys that you just don't share, well, you'll have that with your daughter! She will be your little darling, wanting to wear jewelry, help you cook in the kitchen, and hold every baby she sees. You are going to love it!
YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Lesley, I am so thrilled!!!! This is going to be the cutest, luckiest little girl. And you have to admit, it's pretty exciting just that things are getting mixed up a bit, right? You get to dive into that whole World of Girl!!! Hooray! (And you look adorable, by the way. I love that outfit!)
So excited that you and Sarah are both having girls! HOORAY! My advice - dress them up as much as possible while you can. Because at the age of 2 we are already having battle of the clothes about what she wants to wear every day!
Congrats!! This was a fun way to find out you're pregnant! I'm a little slow. Well I am just so excited, you are such a fabulous girl, so this little girl is in luck!
Having a girl after a couple of boys is great! Then you appreciate every little thing and can more easily ignore the theatrics! Congratulations!
Girl's are so much fun. Mine is might spunky though, so watch out! I think every girl child I know is a little less easy-going than boys. I guess it just depends. Congrats!
what the heck. i'm totally the last one to find these things out....congrats! we miss you guys!
OMG CONGRATS! That is so wonderful. Your world is about to change, from the sound of the cry to everything in and around! It was amazing how fun and different it was with having a girl! Then we had 3 more after Carleigh, lol. We LOVE it! I am so so so happy for you guys! That is so wonderful! Enjoy!!! Hey I need to email me your address again!!!
Congrats!!! we are so excited for you guys. It seems like we always have kids together.
