Helen continues to be a healthy, content little girl. She doesn't seem to eat as much or as often as her siblings did as infants, but she continues to grow quickly! Helen's body is a lot like Ian's was at this age -- rolly polly and squishy all over. Especially her thighs, kankles and upper arms.
She started closing her little fist around blankets and clothes and occasionally she'll try to bring them to her mouth. She keeps her little legs kicking almost constantly, and if the left foot is ever still, the right one is sure to still be kicking hard!
There are certain things that always get a smile out of Helen -- when she first sees me over the side of her crib, every time we snap her carseat in the car (perhaps she likes the mirror on the headrest) and she always smiles as I secure a clean diaper closed.
Her brothers still totally adore her.

Wow. I just caught up on the last few months of your blog. I can't believe Helen is already so old. Um, how is it we have 5 kids between us and none of them have ever met. Erica sent Ian a letter in the mail today, so be on the look out for it. Let's Skype soon. Miss you guys!
