A New SKill

Ian has "found" his thumb in the last week, and is getting better at putting it in his mouth. Usually it takes a few stabs at his face before he gets it in his mouth (and that success is usually short lived.) Here, he was supposed to be enjoying some "tummy time" when his thumb found its way to his mouth. It soothed him to sleep in seconds.

Ian's mommy was proficient at the "binkie". She used to throw it under her crib when she heard her parents coming. I always told Ian's grandma Ogden that it was easier to cure a binkie problem because you can just throw it away and not replace it, but you just can't cut off the thumb. Whatababy.

That is so adorable. Connor never did find his thumb... but his pacifier is all but permanently attached these days.

Great Mamma - You are right! I was in love with my own binkie, and it looks like Ian has similar feelings about his own!
