The good news is we discovered that Ian can put himself to sleep. (Too bad we didn't discover that 4 months and thousands of rocking/bouncing/ssshhhhing sessions ago.) It is really satisfying to swaddle him, give his bed a couple rocks, and then sneak out before he is even asleep. And he really seems to PREFER it to us rocking him -- he actually falls asleep much faster most times. And I suddenly have a lot more spare time.
Bad news is he thinks 5:00 a.m. is an appropriate time to "Rise and Shout." Hopefully this is just lagged time zone adjusting from our CA trip, and it will work itself out shortly.

Sleeping

Maybe he just sympathizes with those of us who have to be at work before the missionaries wake up... only 2 more days... :)
Isn't that the most wonderful discovery? We love that Josie doesn't want to be held to go to sleep. Curtis gives her a bath and then the "jammie time" song and into bed with her. She lays there just relaxing for about 15 minutes and then she is out. What a gift! We have had our share of rocking, screaming, crying, etc. Now we just need to get the other 3 to go to sleep at night :)
