Perhaps you have noticed a new feature on the Larson Family blog: the visitor counter. As I type this, our count is up to over 60 visits in just two days. Thanks for stoppin' by! Compliments of Site Meter, I know who our faithful readers are! Yes, you are no longer annonymous.
That includes our international audience, which I did not previously know was interested in our little family. Though I am flattered that a stranger in Germany spent more than twenty minutes getting caught up on the latest Larson family happenings, that does not concern me nearly as much as the visitor from The Maine Bureau of Taxation who has been back to see us three times in the last two days. Who are you? I am very curious.
Site Meter has also made me aware that we have friends in China, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, Turkey, Denmark, London, India, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Taiwan, Australia, Egypt, Iran, Hong Kong, Spain, France, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Greece. Well. Doesn't that make me feel a little weird.
I am now contemplating making this an invite-only blog. Do you all have any objections to logging in?

That's scary. I'm all about the invite only. I'm going to put the site meter on my blog now.
Ahh! Invite me please and fill me in on how to put the site meter on my blog please!
I have no objections to logging in. I would still have my blog on a permission basis but I have some family members afraid of getting a google account. I had no idea people surfed blogs from around the world.
Creepy, no? I am all about invite-only.
Go for it. How do you put a site-meter on your blog?
We've been using Stat-Counter for awhile now and I've been contemplating doing the same thing. I can't believe you've had so many visitors from around the world though. Crazy.
Um yeah, kinda freaky. Makes ya think... yikes.
Man, I have a site meter but I have no idea where people are coming from. How can you tell? Or do you have to buy the special version? I wouldn't mind signing in, except for the fact that my awesome RSS feed won't work. You'll have to promise to post more often so that my logging-ins aren't in vain :)
that is so interesting! i wouldn't mind signing in, I've thought about it too . . . Love the cute pics of your little guy! We miss you here in Wymount
Interesting. I would also like to know how you put that on your blog. We'd be happy to log in to check out your family's happenins.
I totally agree. I am right there with you. I don't like the thought of everyone being welcome into my personal family life.
