Front Yard Face Lift

Before (this is how it looked when we first moved in last year)

After

To celebrate one year of homeownership, Scott spent the day revitalizing our front yard. He placed rocks and flagstone, picked weeds and laid mulch. Flowers are still to come. Doesn't it look fantastic?

I know I have been lame about posting lately, which is doubly bad since you all have to bother to log in every time you visit. And since Ian and Lesley are visiting grandparents in CA for the next few weeks, it may only get worse while we are extra distracted. But don't give up on us. Yet.

Wow!!! Is that your front yard? It looks like a park. I'm so jealous of all your grass. We spent all day in our yard too...raking rocks of course.

Your yard looks sooo pretty!! Good job Scott! :D

How CA? What have you been up to?! I know Scott misses having his beautiful family close! I'm sure, though, that your parents are adoring every second of your visit!! :D

And I love checking your blog!!

Hey, the yard looks great. Scoot can come do our yard any time. I heard Ian got a black eye from slipping while getting out of the tub . . . bummer. It's okay, Kate's not bothered. It shouldn't hinder the relationship!

The yard looks great. Very impressive.
Sometimes I am relieved to see other people aren't posting frequently because then I don't feel so bad when I'm a lame blogger. Just enjoy your trip to Cali!
