Potty Training

Ian's potty training. And I hate to jinx it, but it's going well. Aside from some miss-placed #2s, he's been dry since the morning we started, last Wednesday. He was delighted when he first placed a #2 in a toilet when we werea t Jason's Deli last weekend. He keeps reminding me of it.

When an accident occured at church last week and I was cleaning him up in the nursing room with some of my friends around, Ian wispered "Are you embarrassed that I put the poopy in my underwear instead of the toilet? How sweet! And no, I was not, and I told him so. Wish us continued success!

I'm glad to hear it's going so well. You're much braver than I am. We've been potty training for a few weeks, and only recently have started taking Benjamin out places in underwear. Haven't even tried church yet. Somehow he does great when we're out and about, but all his accidents happen at home. I guess that's good?

I'm so glad it is going well. I can't decide if I want to try or not.

And what a big kid thing to say, that cracks me up. :)

What are your tricks? We've tried starting with Erica, but it just isn't happening. She will sit on the toilet with no diaper, wipe and flush. We just can't get her to actually pee in the toilet.
