I forgot to add to the last post that Ian always says the same thing when Scott asks him what he did that day: He says "It's been a pretty good day so far." And it's always said in Ian's deep daddy voice.
Joseph began feeding himself with a spoon. It started back in October and he has gotten fairly good at the 'dip method' of spoon feeding.
Ian got his first professional haircut. Scott is excellent with a pair of clippers but since Ian gets hysterical every time we try to cut his hair, we decided we would try a new approach. He still looked nervous, but Scott said Ian looked like he knew he couldn't pull his usual haircut stunts at Snippits, so the haircut was accomplished without a hitch.
If there is a gate up, the grass must be greener on the other side. Even though all the toys are right behind them.

Even though we don't have any photo documentation to prove it, we had a fun Thanksgiving in the home of our Fake Texas Family, The Linfords. We celebrated the last 3 Thanksgivings and many Independence days, Easters and a few Labor days with them too. Scott made 2 apple pies by request again this year. They turned out beautifully.

Hahaha!! I love that picture of the boys at the gate. That's so true!! Yay for their spoon-eating and first professional haircut! And kudos to Scott on his awesome apple pies. Now I'm craving apple pie.
I love that picture at the gate. Too funny.
That's awesome that Ian was better at a professional haircutting place! I'll have to remember that.
Ian is so cute, it looks like you fixed up the turkey apple that I couldn't figure out. And I just read your post about him liking garbage trucks...today I asked what cookie cutter he wanted to make his cookies (Christmas ones) and he wanted a garbage truck. How funny!
Too cute. The boys are getting so big! Love it! lol. The gate picture is the BEST. I have many of those, LOL. They think they might be missing out on something on that side, so much fun. Glad it was a great Thanksgiving for you too!
Love the photographic evidence of the haircuts and Thanksgiving crafts and how cute your boys are.
If you guys ever want a vacation in NYC you can come stay with us! It's a short train ride away!
What a cute little family! This is the first time I have seen your blog! I love it! Hope you guys are doing well.
Lesley I just the sneak peak of your family pictures on Koni's photo blog-- ADORABLE! You guys look like models. You have to get big reproductions of those prints and put them and display them in your house.
I'm glad that you guys have such great friends out there. It makes being far away from family so much easier. Your boys are so darn cute. I wish I could hear Ians deep daddy voice. How cute!
