Ian loves to run around with basketballs and footballs, hopping and rolling and flailing as he goes. He flings himself on the floor and tackles imaginary opponents.
And today after a good game of basketball/football, he declared, "I am so so sweaty. I am going to go take a shower."
Up the stairs he went, and a few minutes later he called down "Mom! I can't open the shower door!"
He had neatly stacked his "so sweaty clothes" on the counter and was ready to hop in the shower!
Hands on hips, just like dad.
Splish splash!
Joseph was content to watch from the outside. Mostly.
All clean! He then said "Now I am going to go play more basketball and football and take another shower!"

hahaha! I love your boys! So cute. hands on his hips - too much!
I gotta go take a shower too, Ian.
P.S. Eli has the same problem with new adults. We might have to do an FHE about it. He also sings the clean up song, but says "everybody every share." for every verse.
Oh Lesley, your post make me cherish my babies more. Thank you!
Hahaha!! That is awesome! He is the coolest. I'm so impressed that he piled his clothes and then actually got in the shower!! I think I was like 8 years old when I took my first shower!!
That is beyond awesome. What a grown-up boy! And the hands on the hips are absolutely hilarious. :)
HAHAHAHA!!! That is fantastic! I love how closely he mimics Scott and how much he adores him. He's a good guy to copy. :)
Chris was lamenting that Scott is no longer his HT companion, by the way. He said, and I quote, "Why can't [my current companion] just be like Scott Larson??"
I love it! He is so cute.
That is ADORABLE!!! I love how he copied Scott. Ha ha ha!! That is so stinkin' cute I just can't handle it!!!
This is beginning to sound like
'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". Cute pic with the hands on the hips.
