A Fun Visit

Sarah and Ryan Kearns are living in Houston for the summer, and Sarah came by to keep Ian and I company last week. They really hit it off!

A New SKill

Ian has "found" his thumb in the last week, and is getting better at putting it in his mouth. Usually it takes a few stabs at his face before he gets it in his mouth (and that success is usually short lived.) Here, he was supposed to be enjoying some "tummy time" when his thumb found its way to his mouth. It soothed him to sleep in seconds.

Scott's First Day at Exxon

Ian and I really missed Scott after he left for his first day of work. Ian was really fussy that day, and I think he was wondering why his buddy was gone. We have been really spoiled to have spent most of the last two months as a trio.

Welcome to Texas

I'm not sure what the Texas way is, but I don't think it's friendly. People complain about Utah drivers but I have to admit that of all the states I've visited Utah has the best drivers. At least Texas has "cheap" gas. It was about $2.93 around our house yesterday. I will get a ten percent discount at Exxon stations. That means we will be paying about $2.60 for gas. I can't believe that that is something to get excited about. When I started driving gas was about $1.00. Those evil oil companies...
