I decided it was time to upgrade our blog template after seeing my mom's hot new blog. However, in doing so, all my blog links and sidebar pictures were erased. I guess that is what I get for chasing beauty.
Fortunately, I had followed this advice earlier that morning, so I didn't "lose" all the links.
Does anyone know how to keep the links and pictures next time I change our template?

Lesley, it is beautiful. I have heard others that have the same problem, so I am a chicken & never change our blog. However, my little sister seems to know lots about blogs so I'll ask her to post a comment on your blog. :) p.s. I'll be doing a post on Rees & sleeping, stay in tuned. :)
Hi, I am Allisons sister. It's because you are using the Pyzam templates. Whenever you choose to redo your page with Pyzam, it makes you redo all your lists. But, if you do it manually using Photobucket you won't have to worry about it even when you want to change to a new look.
This is the link to the instructions on how to do it manually. Don't be intimidated, it's really easy once you go through it.

What a bummer to lose all your links! Unfortunately, I have no answers. Whenever I change our blog, I still use the same template layout, I just change the background and header. I wish I had some advice. On the plus side, though, your header looks adorable!
P.S. I checked out your mom's blog site and she is a great designer! If I could afford her I would hire her! I love her style.

I'll have to remember those tips she gave you when I want to update mine! :) I love your mom's blog by the way! She has such fun ideas for houses! :) I remember when you decorated our apt at college! I love the new blog. The last one was cute as well. Maybe oneday I will get adventurious and try to update mine. I just get so scared!
