Here is the Cutie

I am going to stop moping about losing all my links now. So, we are back to our regularly scheduled update on the Cutest Kid Alive.

Ian really, really, really likes blueberries. And we have a stockpile of them in our freezer. Remember this? It is getting close enough to blueberry-picking season once more, so now I don't feel the need to be so stingy with what we have. Looks like we will have lots of purple stained faces in the weeks to come.

These pictures were really fun to take, because Ian suddenly seemed to catch on to smiling when I said "one, two, three!" I don't know when he figured it out, but Ian is smiling and looking at the camera in every single picture I took at bath time tonight!

Ian's eyes are an interesting color. Friends and strangers frequently comment on how Ian's eyes aren't quite blue, but aren't quite green or brown either. They are beautiful.

Scott made this German pancake last Saturday. It baked up above the sides of the pan like castle walls, and then promptly collapsed when we went to get the camera. Really cool looking and incredibly tasty.
Part of the fun of homeownership is the ability to burn stuff in your own back yard, even if it just your nasty old leaves.

Ian's eyes are awesome! They kind of look like they're striped... very cool. These little boys just seem to continually get more fun too, huh?

I love blueberries, I love babies in the bathtub (Ian is especially cute) and I love German pancakes!

One of my companions on the mission made me 'dutch babies' and I think they are the same as German pancakes & I love them. I like to see what funny shape it will be when it comes out.

I don't think I've given Rees blueberries, I should try that one. Ian looks great & I'm curious if his eyes will stay or change. If they stay, what would you put on his drivers license for eye color?

What a good question, Alli! Do you think there is enough room for blueish-greenish-brownish?

Ian's eyes are the same color as Adam's. Chris calls it gray. I think it's a pretty color. Although Adam is still young enough his eyes may still change.

If I burned leaves in my backyard it would probably catch the houses around me on fire. Wouldn't it be nice to have a large yard...

Hyrum's eyes were the exact same color (colors?) for over a year before they finally decided what color they wanted to be. He still has a lot of those colors in his eyes. They must be related, huh? We love German pancakes too.

Ian is looking soooooooooooo much like Scott, it's crazy! He's becoming a little boy and not a baby--wow!!
