While the world watches the 2008 Olympic Games take place in Beijing, our own little competition is underway here at home. Announcing the First Annual Larson Family Pentathalon!
LFP opening ceremonies were held Saturday evening along side the Olympic Games commencement, but we celebrated with steak and donuts instead of fireworks and lip-synced odes to the motherland.
And now the 2008 LFP games are underway!
2008 Larson Family Pentathalon Events consist of:
Scrabble - Scott vs Lesley
Pie Eating - Scott vs Lesley
Bowling - Scott vs Lesley
Creative Writing* - Scott vs Lesley
Mini-Golf - Scott vs Lesley

You'd be proud of me, I actually checked google news today (for the first time in quite a while) and read that about the lip-synced ode. Weird.

That's okay if it was lip synched after all their 16 year old gymnists are only 12, but who can count anyway?

We totally watched the "16" year old gymnast last night too. I thought the same thing!
